high speed rail

Attention: Lemon Law to Be Heard Monday

On Monday April 23, at approximately 1:30 pm the Assembly Transportation Committee will hear the High Speed Rail Lemon Law, AB 1455 (Harkey), which uses Article VXI of the State's Constitution to pull the plug on the remaining balance of the $9 billion bond approved in 2008 for HSR while allowing the $950 Million for regional transportation to remain available for future funding. To view my recent testimony at a Senate Transportation Committee hearing see here, or for a full video of the Senate Hearing see here.

Also, I will be hosting a workshop in the district on May 17 to talk about saving for retirement and financial literacy.  The event will be held at the Laguna Hills Community Center from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. For more information see here and RSVP at 949.347.7301.

Thanks for your support,

Diane
