Inmates: release: notification. Beth Gaines is a co-author
Extends the current notice requirement, from 45 days to 60 days, that the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is required to give to prosecutors and local law enforcement when a person who has committed a "violent felony" will be released from prison to the community. Makes related changes in the timetables for local prosecutors and law enforcement to object to a proposed placement of a violent felon
